Situated in the Westcott neighborhood in Syracuse, NY, the annex of Petit Branch Public Library incorporates a community meeting hall, a community fabrication shop, and a tool library. The Petit Branch Public Library plays an important role in the Westcott community. Among many typical library offerings, Petit has a large collection of children’s books, as well as a toy library. The library regularly offers children, teen, adult and family programing throughout the year, including a monthly book discussion group, musical performances, poetry readings, gardening programs, and artist exhibition receptions. The branch is a venue for various community resourc- es, and is significantly involved in important community events, such as the Westcott Street Cultural Fair in September.
